Khyber Electric Lamps is a Light Bulb Manufacturing Company Limited. The company was established in 1977 in Peshawar, the capital city of the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP), now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pakistan. The company celebrated its Silver Jubilee in the year 2002.
The sound knowledge and experience of the company’s Board of Directors in the lighting field eventually proved to be a breakthrough in providing an enormous boost to the company's business.
The Khyber Electric Lamps mainly specializes in manufacturing incandescent light bulbs from 15-watt to 200-watt. With time and ever since its commercial production, Khyber Lamps’ products have gained excellent recognition in the consumer market by the grace of Allah almighty.
However, with the technology change, Khyber also changed his production facilities from incandescent lamps to compact fluorescent lamps (CFL). In 2017, Khyber Lamps started the light-emitting diode (LED) with an in-house assembly unit and manufacturing plant for housing and diffusers for LED lamps.
